De Grote Vloed
'The Great Flood' tells the story of Moos, his grandfather Leon, their friends the professor and the mayor, and the adventures they experience at sea and in the country on the only mountain that still protrudes above water after the flood. It is a chilling story, that you would prefer to read with your eyes closed, but at the same time it is hilarious, the fun bursts from the pages, and philosophical. It takes place in the future and yet - or perhaps because of that - it says a lot about the time in which we live. But The Great Flood is above all a moving book about friendship and trust.
